A special event commemorating the 70th anniversary of the US-Korea alliance will take place in Utah.

Co-hosted by the US Department of Veterans Affairs and the Korean American Federation of Utah and sponsored by the San Francisco Consulate General, the event, known as "Korean Culture Night," is scheduled for October 13th. 

This event will feature Utah's first-ever invitation to K-Pop star NINE.i, as well as a performance by a Taekwondo team from South Korea that secured 2nd place on the American talent show 'America's Got Talent.' 

Prior to this, on the 12th, there will be a commemorative event held at the Utah State Capitol to honor veterans.
